Job Description Qualifications	Our substitutes are always welcome to bring along their own activities, games and/or crafts, when they fill in for the day, but of course, all of our supplies are always readily available in the rooms as well! Our Substitute Teachers will be aware of what our themes are for the week and the concepts that we have been focusing on learning, so that they can continue running the regular program on the day that they come in. Substitutes are given a daily schedule to follow and a Manager is always on site to help answer any questions that you may have, or to help out where needed! Successful applicants must have: ECE Certificate or ECE Assistand Certificate, a valid First Aid Certificate, Doctor's Note, 3 Reference Letters, and a Criminal Record Check.

Job Description/ Qualifications	KELOWNA CHILD CARE SOCIETY CHILD CARE RESOURCE & REFERRAL PROGRAM JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: TOY LOAN LIBRARY VOLUNTEER DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Executive Director WORK SCHEDULE 4 to 6 hours a day Mondays CLASSIFICATION: Volunteer position EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: None EXPERIENCE/PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: • Excellent organizational skills • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting • Cleared Criminal Record Check BASIC FUNCTION: The volunteer would work in consultation with the CCRR Resource & Referral Receptionist to help maintain the KCCS toy and resource loan library DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilties include but are not limited to the following tasks: 1. Assist the Resource & Referral Receptionist with the following tasks: • tidying and organizing the loan library • cleaning toys and loan library equipment on a regular basis • upkeeping existing library items • Checking puzzles, theme boxes, games and other toys to insure that no pieces are missing • Sorting and labeling toy bins and/or new loan library items • organizing resource books • taking pictures of new loan library items • In consultation with the CCRR Coordinator and the Resource & Referral Receptionist, removal of broken or damaged toys, resource books, and/or infant toddler equipment
